open air Kobe Motomachi

Two floors three minutes from Motomachi: a counter downstairs and twelve taps, mostly their own beer (plus guests), worked with seasonal hops and herbs. It isn't brewed here — it comes from open air's Minatoyama brewery over in Hyogo-ku, inside NATURE STUDIO, a converted primary school.

It's also the only place on this list that isn't independently owned — a joint venture between Murakami Koumuten and World-One.
