These terms cover NOMIMICHI — the website at kobe.bentours.jp and the iPhone app "NOMIMICHI" (together, "the service") — run by BenStay LLC ("we", "us").

1. The guide

NOMIMICHI is an editorial guide to standing bars, kakuuchi and craft beer bars in and around Kobe. Opening hours, prices and payment methods change; check with the venue before a special trip. We work to keep the guide accurate but can't guarantee it is complete or current.

The legal drinking age in Japan is 20. Never drink and drive.

2. Accounts

You don't need an account to use the guide. Adding photos needs you to sign in (Apple, Google, LINE, X, or a link sent by email). You can delete your account at any time from your account page (in the app: Settings → Account).

3. Photos you add

• Only upload photos you took yourself.
• You keep the copyright. You give BenStay LLC a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to display, resize, crop and distribute the photo on the service and in promoting it. This licence continues after you delete your account; the photo is then credited to "former contributor".
• Don't upload photos where other customers' faces are the subject, photos showing children, sexual or violent content, readable personal information, ads or promotions, or images unrelated to the venue.
• Every photo is pre-screened by an AI model and then reviewed by us before it appears. We may decline or remove any photo without giving a reason, and may stop an account from adding photos if these terms are broken.
• If you see a problem with a photo, use its "Report" link. Photos reported for privacy are hidden immediately until we look.

4. Don't

Break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with the service (for example with automated bulk requests or attempts to get into other people's accounts).

5. Liability

Except where caused by our intent or gross negligence, we aren't liable for losses arising from use of the information on the service. We may change, suspend or end the service without notice.

6. Changes and law

We'll post any changes to these terms on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Kobe District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
